Color Challenge: Shuttle Grey

In RL I live in a northern climate and grey is a shade I know a lot about.  It's odd how I am drawn to it even in SL even though there are very few sims that are blustery year 'round.   The challenge for me was calling good enough alone as I have so much.  In the end I was happy with a casual look that included one of my favorite pants from Maitreya and a sweater from Baiastice.  The hair is a new style from Wasabi Pills and right now can be found at Fantasy Faire 2012.

Danger was her Middle Name

I got a new gun!
Deco, maker of gorgeous jewelry and machine guns (and other amazing sculpted items), has released a new Muffler Rifle.  I tend to be more of a tree hugging pacifist so I don't know a lot about guns but this one is street legal and operational, including a removable muffler, custom animations, effects and semi/full firing modes.  No need to fear stalkers and ex-partners with this baby!

Also, true to her gothy roots of cuteness, Ghanima Uriza has released a cute new short dress.  It is accented by a lacy bodice and a nice pop of color trim.  It includes gloves and stockings (not shown).

Color Challenge: Bright Turquoise

It's been a few weeks since I've had the time to do a color challenge and this is a great color.  This spring is all about colors that pop and I found my best match in this well loved favorite from Picadi Jasha.  I miss that store and will forever kick myself for not buying every single piece of jewelry they sold when they closed.  The necklace is also a favorite from Kyccie's, another store that closed (is that how you know you are getting to be an old avatar?)  Oh for pities sake, I just noticed my stockings aren't sold anymore either though Shania Singh does have some of her cute socks on marketplace.
Thankfully I am not a complete washout as both my hair and skin are NEW!  Wasabi Pills newest mesh hair, Shiki is just so darling.  It includes matching hairbases and a HUD that lets you chose from many color options for both elastic bands and barrettes (separately).  I've become such a die hard fan of MissAllSunday's hair.  The lovely porcelain skin is from the new line, Leah, from Glam Affair.  Called Contessina, it is available at a special price a The Gallery Gift Shop. It includes skins for 3 different brow colors as well as with/without hair base.  There is a gift version available as well (an awesome gift!) as well as complementing male skin by Tableau Vivant (also has gift option).

Before I forget, the Pose Fair is under way and I am a huge pose addict like most bloggers.  The poses I am using today are all from Exposeur's new Blissful set.  RubyStarlight Writer, owner and creator of Exposeur includes both male and female versions of poses in the new sets, which is pretty cool.  Ruby is tip-top at pose making and I've been a loyal customer for ages.  Thanks, Ruby!
